Batman: The Brave and the Bold

My kids and I have spent a lot of time since Christmas playing the video game Batman: Arkham City. In honor of our new found respect for Batman here is a drawing of Batman from the animated series Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

The Weekend Reaper

Sometimes we have to work weekends and I am the one who gets to ask for volunteers.  Because of this I've earned the nickname "The Weekend Reaper".  I've decided to embrace the name and  put this image of a smiling Grim Reaper (from The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy) up in my cubicle.

Slow Restart

Going to slowly bring this blog back to life.  No predictions about how often I'll post. No "365 drawings in a year" challenges to myself.  Back to drawing for the fun of it, not because of some self imposed deadline making it feel like a chore.  When I get the urge, and have the time, I'll draw and post.

I'm trying to get myself caught up to one drawing per week but I'm about 16 weeks behind. Above are Pluto from the short Pluto's Blue Note, Goofy from the short The Olympic Champ, and Goofy as Mr. Wheeler from the short Motormania.

I'm going to post some quick pencil drawings in order to get caught up on my goal of posting one drawing a week. The images below were inspired by various things over the last few months.


#26 - The wizard Yensid from the animated feature Fantasia. This was in honor of another wizard movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
